There are no sessions available, what should I do?

How much does a session cost?

Our sessions cost just £7 for 1 hour.

Yes. If your child has a disability, they are always welcome! At BIC our aim is to make climbing more accessible so currently only exclusively run sessions for people with disabilities

Can my child climb?

Yes! When booking onto a session you can also book your child's siblings on.

Can my child's siblings climb?

Every session at BIC will be run one to one ensuring each participant gets the required attention they need. Nearly always this means working 1:1 with a volunteer, but we may add more volunteers if it’s necessary. Or we might use another extra pair of hands like a BSL interpreter. We’ll do whatever we need to get your child climbing.

Are your sessions in a group or a 1:1?

How do the sessions work?

Upon arrival, participants will be welcomed by a volunteer, who will introduce themselves and provide an overview of the session if needed. The volunteer will assist the participant in putting on a harness and, if desired, provide climbing shoes. Next, the participant will sign in at the desk before entering the climbing center.

Once inside, participants will have an hour to climb, either on ropes, bouldering, or both, as they choose. Our sessions are designed to allow participants the freedom to decide when and how they want to climb.
